It’s blends like this that make me happy. I’ve used all these ingredients before, but somehow the proportion today was just perfect. One thing I did differently was that I did not add any extra juice to it, its just the fruits and some yogurt. There’s a crown on the liquid, its both creamy, but tart; thick, but drinkable. Adding a little lemon goes a long way, I think it helps enhance the fruit flavors. All in all, it was sblended in every aspect.

“I read a study recently that compared groups of people that ate egg breakfasts vs groups of people that ate cereal or bagel-based breakfasts.  The results of the study showed that the egg eaters lost or maintained a healthier bodyweight, while the cereal/bagel eaters gained weight. It was hypothesized that the egg eaters actually ate less calories during the remainder of the day because their appetite was more satisfied compared to the cereal/bagel eaters who would have been more prone to wild blood sugar swings and food cravings.
But what about the extra calories in the yolks?
This is actually a non-issue and here’s why… even though egg yolks contain more calories than just eating the egg whites, the yolks have such a high micro-nutrient density in those calories, that it increases your overall nutrient density per calorie you consume.  Essentially, what this does is help to regulate your appetite for the remainder of the day, so you end up eating less calories overall.  In addition, the healthy fats in the egg yolks help to maintain a good level of fat-burning hormones in your body.

Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets!
16 oz (2 large) skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into even bite sized pieces
salt and pepper to taste (I used paprika instead of salt)
2 tsp olive oil (I used canola oil)
6 tbsp whole wheat Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (I omitted this, I HATE parmesan!)
olive oil spray (I used butter spray)
Preheat oven to 425°. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray. Put the olive oil in one bowl and the breadcrumbs, panko and parmesan cheese in another. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then put in the bowl with the olive oil and mix well so the olive oil evenly coats all of the chicken. Put a few chunks of chicken at a time into the breadcrumb mixture to coat, then on the baking sheet. Lightly spray the top with olive oil spray then bake 8 - 10 minutes. Turnover then cook another 4 - 5 minutes or until cooked though.
Not only are these amazing, but they look exactly like the picture on the website (click my picture for the link!). Seriously, they’re so delicious you guys, OH and the website has the nutritional info!!
